Personal details
Mr Delatter received a secondary education Science B from Saint-Joseph Kortrijk in 1987 and then gained a higher education qualification in Industrial Engineering Chemistry from KIHWV Ostend in 1991, where he specialised in Biochemistry.
Professional career
Mr Delatter is currently a Member of Staff at the Vereniging van Vlaamse Steden en Gemeenten (VVSG – Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities) where he is the coordinator for the waste management policy department responsible for waste management; intermunicipal cooperation; public-private partnerships and waste policy. He is also the coordinator of “INTERAFVAL”, the cooperation between the Association and all Flemish public local waste management organisations. He is an active member of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) Ad Hoc Working Group on Waste and Chair of the WEEE Public Interest Network (WEEE-PIN) within ACR+, where he is also a member of the Board.
