About “Mouvement Vraiment Durable”
This association, founded in 2005, brings together well known national and international players in the field of sustainable development. It aims to support and give definition to the concept of sustainable development. To do so, the movement has various areas of action: the publication of independent reports on the state of sustainable development in the French Regions, the promotion of cooperation between new and established EU Member States, the establishment of scientific partnerships undertaking research into different areas of sustainability (water, energy, biodiversity, etc.), the creation along with consumers, public authorities, social scientists, etc of sustainable vigilance groups which demonstrate that individual consumers can influence sustainable development.
