Andreas Röthlisberger has a law degree from the Universities of Geneva and Bern in Switzerland. He also wrote a thesis on “Transfer of Ownership of Movables in Spain, Portugal and Latin America”.
Professional career
Mr Röthlisberger began his career in 1981 as an employee and partner in the law firm Röthlisberger-Krähenbühl-Wyser in Aarau. He went on to establish his own law firm in 1990 dealing with contract law, trade, corporate law and environmental law. He was an Initiator and President of both the Swiss Foundation for Waste Management (SENS) and the Association of Swiss Compost and Methanisation Plants (ASCP). He is also a member of various boards of Directors for SMEs.
